TU/e has a major challenge to find scientific specialists on specific subjects. Specialists who have knowledge about a specific aspect of science, but are also motivated and interested in working with students.
Qualitative research within TU/e has discovered a pattern in the primary and secondary reasons for working at TU/e. The main reason is the added value that you as a scientist have on the part of science which interests you. We’ve translated these reasons, and especially the pride of scientists, into real stories that they themselves tell. All based on the employer brand: Meaningful minds.
We compiled these stories in a pilot for various departments. In the stories, employees speak about pride, successes, current challenges, their vision for the future of science, and why they enjoy working at TU/e. This is employer branding with and through science.
We’re currently disseminating the stories to the various target groups. We do this through an extensive online marketing campaign. To ultimately analyse and optimise the results of this pilot for other departments.
